I bout these just before one of my 12 mile hikes. They are fantastic, beautiful fit, smooth, no problem passing through water!!! I had no problem going over slippery roads, they have a great grip and they are light as a feather!

These shoes were exactly what I needed for travelling around Costa Rica. I didn't need to break them in, though I did wear them a few weeks beforehand. They are quite comfy and sturdy and don't let water in too easily. I wanted hiking shoes that weren't "too much" so that I could wear them to work and on errands as well. I really enjoy them!

Overall I was very impressed with these shoes. They are definitely on the narrow side, so keep that in mind before ordering. I was a little concerned about that, but used them for a hike right after receiving anyways. We hiked a mountain (about a 2 hour venture) and they did great. I never felt like they were too tight and they provided great stability. I am very happy with my purchase!
